I would like to have the option to verify a user after I date him. So that i can TELL TO OTHERS that this user is VALID, not a faker etc... and even though I would not date him again... I suggest him for being TRUE, HONEST, and the most important... HE IS...as he told me.

No more dates with fake people, or people who claim eg they are athletic, and they appear with a belly. or users who claim to be 40 and are 60....

You could always save someone as "I know this user personally", and others can save you. I usually don't do this if I had a bad experience. The proplem is that this vanishes when others delete their profiles.

hey there are actually dozens of posts concerning this exact problem. there are many in depth reflections on how to fix problems with authanticity and fakers. however the romeo team doesn't really seem to care about it. they answer with empty phrases, promises and point to their "soffisticated system" that handles those issues.

One measure could be a mechanism that stores hashes of pictures uploaded by people who have been kicked out for spam, commercial offers and so on. This would stop fakers and "private" escorts who keep opening a new account every Friday and beeing kicked by Planetromeo every Monday.

Hi guys,

the solution for this is the Known User level which you can indicate when you know a user personally. The more users that indicate you as personally known, the higher your rating and other users can see that.

A few weeks ago an unknown user with an over the top trust status contacted me, asking me to just mark him as personally known because he had a bet to fulfill that he can get 22222 personally known points until tomorrow. As I said, his status was already over the top and he was linked by a huge number of people.

I would suggest to Planetromeo to add an internal flag to the user profiles that is set when a user has marked an obvious faker as personally known. This flag should stop their personally known marks from being counted.

And on the other hand, there is the vanishing "personally known" status when a profile gets deleted. This should only be the case if it was a faker.

But what if the user who deletes their profile creates a new one sometimes later (which is the case every once in a while) and marks you again as personally known? Then you are known two times although it is only one person.

You think users would make hundreds of fake profiles to mark themselves as known? Come on, nobody has that time. It's nonsens.

A fakerfarm does not necessarily create accounts by hand. They use curl or some shell or pythonscript to create those profiles.

I want a "remember" function, when I tag someone I met, as "real", he'll get a message he have to answer "yes we met" or "no, we didn't met." Additional information would be difficult. These Information about personal assessments are not objective, they could be more lovely then the reality or the meeting wasn't well being and the second one want a payback for the lost time...

Hope someone can understand what I want to say O.o
